Our commitment
We want PEXO to work for everyone, including people navigating by keyboard, with a screen reader, or with motion sensitivity.
What's in place today
- Every icon-only button (search, cart, wishlist, account) has a text label for screen readers.
- Cart, wishlist, profile and search panels close with the Escape key, and focus is visible when navigating by keyboard.
- Motion — hero parallax, staggered reveals, drawer transitions — is disabled site-wide when your system's reduce-motion setting is on.
- Text and background colours are checked against standard contrast guidelines.
Known limitations
Product photography is decorative background imagery without individual descriptive alt text; product names are always available as visible headings next to it. This is a solo demo project — it hasn't been through a full audit with assistive-technology users.
